I have been underweight for most of my life with little muscle strength. I have not been enthusiastic about gym sessions as most gyms seem to focus on weight loss and monotonous exercises. The occasional group exercise classes that I joined worked better burning calories, which was not really my fitness goal. So, I was at a loss of what to do to improve my fitness. I want a more active lifestyle with more muscle strength as I was feeling lethargic and weak most of the time. A friend of mine who tried FTI and recommended it to me, telling me that it was very different from the typical gym. So, when a groupon deal was available, I decided to give it a try and eventually signed up for more personal training sessions.
From Lucia, I have been learning a variety of functional exercises that are not only fun to do, but also effective in improving different aspects of my fitness such as muscle strength and balance.
Given that I had a long break in training, the range of exercises that my personal trainer, Lucia taught me were impressive. Quite a few of them were challenging and I certainly felt the work on my muscles after each session. Getting through the challenges gave me more confidence in the possibilities of what I can achieve and definitely more energy in my daily life.
I have been training with Lucia for about 2 months now. She is a very caring and supportive trainer who is attentive to my needs. It is also nice to have someone who understands better than I do on what I need to develop to achieve better fitness level. Although it’s been only two months, with her targeted exercises, I am already seeing clear improvement and feeling stronger. So, it has been a fruitful couple of months, thanks to Lucia!
I would recommend FTI to others, especially those who are frustrated with what other gyms can offer in addressing their specific needs.
