TPI & ACE Certified Fitness Professional
National Amateur Champion
Jen Goh - Aspiring Professional Golfer, TPI Certified Fitness Professional, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, DZMR Certified Trainer
At the tender age of 20, Jen has travelled to more than fifteen countries in four continents to play golf and compete. She became the first Singaporean female to clinch an overseas national amateur title when she won the Hong Kong Amateur Open in 2014 and followed that up by winning the San Diego City Amateur in 2015. Back on home soil, Jen has been dominant in the local amateur scene, picking up back-to-back Singapore National Amateur Championships in 2014 and 2015. She then followed that up with winning the Singapore Ladies Amateur Open in 2015 by a whopping 6 strokes.
In the midst from pursuing a full time playing schedule to prepare her for the LPGA Tour, Jen is also a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Fitness Professional where she is able to screen golfers for movement dysfunctions and prescribe corrective exercises. Along with 4 years of golf-specific functional training, it makes her a well-rounded athlete and trainer. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council of Exercise (ACE) and is assisting Functional Training Institute (FTI) as a facilitator for their Dual Zone Myofascial Release (DZMR) Certification course.
With Jen’s experience and expertise, she makes for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic educator in golf fitness. She has shared her insights with more than 50 aspiring junior golfers and their parents in a clinic as well as presented to the master functional trainers at FTI. She hopes to be able to spread the message that the golf swing is made in the gym rather than the driving range and everyone should enjoy the game pain-free.
